Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has played down reports linking him with a potential move to Manchester City, describing the speculation as unfounded.
Maresca has been touted as a possible successor to Pep Guardiola amid suggestions that the current season could be Guardiola’s last at the Etihad Stadium. However, the Italian coach insisted his full attention remains on his role at Chelsea.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, the Chelsea manager said the rumours had no basis, stressing that he is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2029.
He reiterated his pride in managing Chelsea and made it clear that his focus is solely on the club, adding that the reports linking him to Manchester City are nothing more than speculation.
