Maryam Yahaya (born on July 17, 1997, 28 years old) is a muslim from Goron Dutse, Kano State, Nigeria. She was raised in a typical and culturally appropriate Hausa family.
Her family’s upbringing was guided by her father, Mr. Yahaya, and her mother, Mrs. Yahaya. Besides, the young girl grew up in a lively, culturally rich northern Nigerian community.
Maryam Yahaya started her education at Yelwa Primary School and completed secondary education at Bokabo Barracks Secondary School in 2015. Later, she earned a diploma in Mass Communication from Kano State Polytechnic. The course she studied helped her with her on-screen work and her business projects.
Career
In 2016, Maryam Yahaya entered Kannywood and proudly introduced herself as a member of Gidan Abinci. She played supporting characters in Barauniya and Tabo. A year later, Maryam Yahaya became famous when she got the leading role in the movie Mansoor, directed by Ali Nuhu.
