A Real Housewives of Atlanta icon may be on her way back to Bravo. Nene Leakes is reportedly in active discussions with the network about a potential return through The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip, a fresh twist on the popular all-star franchise scheduled to film in January 2026.
Andy Cohen officially unveiled the upcoming installment at BravoCon 2025 and will feature fan-favorite Housewives from across the franchise embarking on a road trip that revisits some of Bravo’s most iconic destinations.
According to Page Six, sources say Leakes is being considered for the cast. This appearance would mark a significant full-circle moment following her highly publicized exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2020.
Since her departure, tensions between Leakes and the network have been widely documented, including a 2022 lawsuit she filed against Bravo production companies alleging racially insensitive and inappropriate behavior. The lawsuit was later dismissed.
Despite the rocky past, signs of reconciliation have emerged. Andy Cohen recently confirmed that he and Leakes reconnected privately earlier this year, fueling speculation that longstanding differences may be easing.
If finalized, Leakes’ return would be one of the most talked-about comebacks in Real Housewives history. For now, discussions remain ongoing, but all eyes are on Bravo as fans await confirmation.
