Rapper Papoose and boxing champion Claressa Shields have spoken publicly to clear the air surrounding his estranged marriage to Remy Ma and persistent cheating allegations.
In a candid interview on The Breakfast Club, Papoose acknowledged the breakdown of his marriage, stating that the situation was already public and needed no denial. He dismissed claims that infidelity played a role, stressing that his reputation over the years, including during Remy Ma’s incarceration, had never been tainted by cheating allegations.
Shields also weighed in, explaining that divorce is a process that takes time and does not instantly pause people’s lives. She noted that both parties have moved on and criticised the continued focus on old issues.
The boxing star added that Remy Ma is also seeing someone else, describing the recurring rumours as outdated and unnecessary.
Papoose and Shields revealed they have been together for about a year and a half, a relationship that has attracted public scrutiny amid heated exchanges with Remy Ma. However, Papoose firmly denied cheating claims and said he is now focused on moving forward.
He concluded by wishing Remy Ma “all the best”, signalling his intention to leave the past behind.
