Streaming platform Twitch has reportedly suspended the account of Nigerian content creator Carter Efe, just days after he made history as the most-followed African streamer on the platform.

The suspension comes shortly after Carter Efe crossed the 400,000-follower mark on Twitch, having surpassed 300,000 followers just days earlier. The achievement positioned him as the most-followed African streamer on the platform.

His meteoric rise was largely driven by a highly publicised livestream featuring Afrobeats superstar Davido. The session attracted massive live viewership, significantly boosting his follower count and drawing widespread attention to his Twitch channel.
