Former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, has paid an emotional tribute to his friends, Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, who died in a fatal car accident along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.
Joshua made the tribute in his first social media post since the tragic incident. CREEBHILLS reports that the boxer sustained minor injuries in the crash and was later discharged from the hospital on New Year’s Eve before returning to the United Kingdom on Saturday.
On Sunday, the 36-year-old shared a photo with the families of the deceased across his social media platforms, captioning it, “My Brother’s Keeper.”
The image showed Anthony Joshua standing in solidarity with the bereaved families as a sign of support and remembrance.
Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele are scheduled to be laid to rest later on Sunday.
