Renowned Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and her husband, Dr. Ivara Esege, have suffered the tragic loss of one of their twin sons.
According to a report by Arise News, the couple’s 21-month-old son, Nkanu Nnamdi Esege, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, following a brief illness.
At the time of reporting, further details regarding the nature of the illness had not been disclosed.
