Chelsea are expected to finalise Raheem Sterling’s departure in the coming days, with the forward poised to complete a move once an agreement is reached with his representatives.
Talks are ongoing between the club and Sterling’s camp as both sides work toward resolving the situation before Monday. Chelsea have made it clear they are willing to let the England international leave, with all parties eager for a swift conclusion.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that negotiations are progressing as planned, revealing that Sterling is ready to move once a solution is agreed.
“Raheem Sterling is expected to leave Chelsea in the next days and is ready to make his move soon. Chelsea and Sterling’s camp are in contact to find a solution before Monday, as Chelsea are prepared to let him leave. Talks are underway between parties,” Romano wrote on X.
Sterling joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2022 and has featured regularly in the club’s attacking setup over the past two seasons. However, his future at Stamford Bridge has remained uncertain due to limited opportunities.
The winger has been linked with several potential destinations as he looks to secure regular playing time. Reports suggest Raheem Sterling has not featured in a single match this season and was forced to train separately after failing to secure a move away from Chelsea before the August 2025 transfer deadline.
