Anu Adeleke, who claims to be the daughter of Nigerian music star Davido, has responded publicly after the singer dismissed her paternity claim and rejected calls for another DNA test.
Davido had earlier taken to social media to deny the allegation, stating that he had never met Anu’s mother outside the period when a DNA test was previously conducted. He insisted that multiple DNA tests were carried out at different hospitals to conclusively resolve the matter, adding that his family—particularly his father—was involved because they take issues of blood ties seriously.
The singer further accused Anu’s mother of misconduct and suggested she should be jailed over the continued claims.
Reacting in a post shared on her page, Anu said she was deeply hurt by Davido’s response, describing his comments as bullying and emotionally distressing to both her and her mother. She stressed that her intention was not to stir controversy or attract public attention, but simply to confirm her identity.
Anu also questioned Davido’s claims regarding the number of DNA tests allegedly conducted. According to her, the figures mentioned by the singer contradict what her mother has consistently told her. She maintained that her mother only participated in one DNA test, which she insists was not properly carried out.
She added that her mother has already provided a detailed account of her side of the story, which remains publicly available on her page.
