Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has challenged Nigerians to publicly expose him if he has ever collected a bribe from anyone.
Olukoyede made the statement while responding to questions during an interview on Sunday Politics, a programme aired on Channels Television.
He maintained that throughout his career in public service, he has never engaged in fraud or any form of corrupt practice.
“No Nigerian can say I’ve collected money from them. I have never been involved in any fraudulent activity all through my service in the public sector,” he said.
The EFCC boss added that he carries out his duties with diligence, commitment, and loyalty to the commission’s mandate, insisting that integrity has remained central to his work in office.
