Mandy, the ex-partner of popular Nigerian comedian Mark Angel, has shared a candid account of what she describes as distressing experiences during their relationship.
In a video posted on her social media page, Mandy spoke directly to viewers, using a “put your finger down” format to describe incidents she claims occurred while they were together.
She alleged that on their wedding night, Mark Angel pressured her to participate in a threesome with another woman, instructing her to tell the stranger that they were “just friends.”
She further claimed that throughout the relationship, she was repeatedly body-shamed, particularly after giving birth, and that Mark Angel allegedly withdrew during intimate moments, suggesting he was no longer attracted to her.
According to Mandy, he also criticised her cooking publicly in front of friends, only to behave differently when those same friends visited their home.
She recalled an incident in which he allegedly left home around 4 a.m. to pick up an ex-girlfriend, claiming he was helping her after she had reportedly been assaulted by her partner.
In another allegation, Mandy said Mark Angel spent time alone with another woman in a room opposite their matrimonial bedroom while she was present in the house. She claimed that when they later came out, he told her they had “just been talking.”
Mandy also alleged that at one point, Mark Angel told her he was suffering from a serious internal illness and only had a few years to live, a claim she now questions, noting that he is still alive years later.
Her revelations have generated widespread reactions online. While some social media users have expressed sympathy and support for her, others have questioned the veracity of the claims and asked why she chose to speak out now.
