Social media critic VeryDarkMan has publicly revealed his girlfriend, putting an end to weeks of speculation about his romantic relationship with content creator Jojo of Lele.
The influencer shared photos of himself with the unidentified woman across his social media platforms, announcing both her presence and a temporary break from online activity. In a brief caption, he wrote alongside love emojis: “She’s here, bye Internet for now.”
His post comes amid sustained rumours about an alleged relationship with Jojo of Lele, who has on several occasions referred to VeryDarkMan as her husband. Nearly a year ago, Jojo publicly announced him as her partner, further fuelling speculation about their relationship.
The situation became more controversial in February 2025 when VeryDarkMan mentioned Jojo of Lele among women he alleged media personality Nedu Wazobia had slept with in exchange for appearances on his platform. Jojo strongly denied the claim, stating, “I have never had anything to do with Nedu.”
Following the backlash, VeryDarkMan later invited Jojo of Lele to dinner in Abuja. After the meeting, the content creator openly expressed her feelings, saying she was in love with the critic.
With the latest reveal, VeryDarkMan appears to have drawn a clear line between speculation and reality, choosing to publicly acknowledge his current relationship while stepping away from social media.
