Nigerian socialite and nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chiefpriest has publicly thrown his support behind music superstar Davido after Davido lost in the Best African Music Performance category at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards.
Taking to social media, Cubana Chiefpriest shared a strongly worded message encouraging Davido to stay focused and undeterred, insisting that outside forces would never break him or derail his success.
“Oyibo dey do everything possible to break a strong man so he can do their demonic shit with them but he will never do it.
Heads up brother, open the bag & drop another hot one for us.
E no dey finish, gbedu na water…”
The post quickly gained traction online, with fans interpreting the message as a show of loyalty and encouragement for Davido to keep pushing musically despite missing out on the award, which went to South African singer Tyla.
Many supporters applauded Cubana Chiefpriest for standing firmly by Davido, noting that the singer’s impact and consistency in African music remain unquestionable, award or no award.
Davido, widely regarded as one of Africa’s biggest music exports, continues to command massive support from fans and close associates as he forges ahead in his global career.
