Nigerian comedian and actor Broda Shaggi has finally reacted following widespread reports claiming he was hospitalised after being shot.
The rumours began circulating on March 13, 2026, with claims that the entertainer was injured during a shooting incident around the Sango-Ota area in Ogun State, reportedly near the Sango-Ota bridge.
Some reports, quoting an unnamed police source, alleged that the incident happened while he was filming a skit and that he was later taken to a hospital in Lagos for treatment.
However, amid the confusion, Broda Shaggi took to Instagram in the early hours of the morning with a message that many have described as cryptic.
Posting around 4 a.m., he hinted that he had more to say but felt restricted.
“It is 4am and I wish like pouring out my mind but I can’t cos they will be deleted,” he wrote.
He also used the moment to share a reflective message, encouraging people to live with purpose and kindness.
“But if you are gonna leave this world behind, leave it as a good person,” he added.
Interestingly, he did not directly confirm or deny the shooting reports in the post, which has only added to the uncertainty surrounding the situation.
