Popular Nigerian skit maker Broda Shaggi has been hospitalised after he was allegedly shot while filming a skit.
The entertainer, whose real name is Samuel Perry, was reportedly shot on Sunday afternoon, March 8, under the Sango-Ota Bridge in Ogun State.
A police source confirmed to Punch Newspapers that Broda Shaggi was immediately rushed by members of his crew to Blooming Care Hospital, where he received initial medical attention.
According to the source, medical personnel at the facility administered first aid shortly after he arrived.
He was later transferred to Duchess International Hospital in Lagos State, where he is currently recovering.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed the development, stating that the police were alerted by the hospital.
“The hospital contacted the police to report that a gunshot victim had been brought to their facility. Detectives and a patrol team were immediately mobilised to the hospital, where they discovered that the victim was a skit maker and social media influencer popularly known as Broda Shaggi,” she said.
Adebisi added that the comedian was seen on a stretcher with an injury to his thigh.
