Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, has made history as the first African artiste to gross more than $1 million from a single concert in the continent of Oceania.
The milestone was achieved during the Sydney stop of his No Sign Of Weakness Tour at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on October 18, 2025.
According to global tour monitoring platform Touring Data, the concert generated $1.117 million in revenue.
The platform also reported that the tour set a new record as the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania, earning $3.1 million from 31,000 tickets sold across four shows.
Data released by Touring Data showed that the Australian leg of the tour sold 30,946 tickets across four performances, with an average ticket price of $100.94 and an average revenue of $772,791 per show.
The No Sign Of Weakness Tour was staged across 20 shows in three continents — North America, Europe and Oceania.
With the latest achievement, Burna Boy has now become the first African artist in history to gross more than $1 million from a single concert on three different continents.
