The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has again increased the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), marking the third upward adjustment within a week.
The refinery announced the latest hike to marketers on Monday, raising the gantry price of PMS to N1,175 per litre from N995 per litre announced on Friday.
The latest change represents an increase of N180, or about 18.1 per cent, within three days.
Dangote refinery also revised the gantry price of Automotive Gas Oil, commonly known as diesel, to N1,620 per litre.
Earlier reports indicated that the refinery had recently increased its PMS price to N995 per litre from N874 at the weekend, a development that pushed the pump price of fuel to above N1,000 per litre across Nigeria.
