Founder of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has shared a personal story from 1997, recalling how giving out his entire salary as a sacrifice led to unexpected outcomes.
According to the cleric, the incident occurred when his wife had asked for money to go to the market, and his total salary at the time was ₦5,000. He explained that as he was about to respond, he felt prompted to give the money away instead.
Despite the financial pressure, he said he went ahead and dropped the full amount as a sacrifice.
He recounted that less than an hour later, a woman arrived with ₦25,000, along with a bag of rice, beans, eggs, and other food items, stating that she had been directed to bring them to him.
The pastor further revealed that the same woman later shared another development involving her family. According to him, her husband, who had never given her a large sum of money before, gave her ₦1 million that same day and subsequently secured a job in Abuja.
Ibiyeomie said the experience reinforced his belief in faith and obedience, noting that acting in line with conviction can set off a chain of unexpected events.
