A woman was arrested on Sunday after allegedly firing several gunshots at the Beverly Hills home of singer Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky.
Rihanna was reportedly inside the house at the time of the incident, though no injuries were recorded.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told the Los Angeles Times that officers responded to reports of gunfire around 1:20 p.m. on Sunday and arrested a 30-year-old female suspect.
Police said the suspect allegedly fired several rounds toward the Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s residence from inside her vehicle. At least one of the bullets reportedly struck the side of the house.
According to the Los Angeles Times, a radio dispatch from the scene indicated that at least “10 shots” were fired from a vehicle parked across the street from the home’s gate.
Authorities said the motive behind the shooting remains unknown. It is also unclear whether A$AP Rocky or the couple’s three young children were inside the residence at the time of the incident.
A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was acquitted of all charges in February 2025 over a 2021 shooting incident in Hollywood, after a jury found him not guilty of two felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm. His record was later ordered sealed.
The rapper had previously spent more than a month in jail in Sweden following a 2019 assault conviction.
