Tiger Woods Faces Fresh Legal Trouble After Florida Crash

Golf legend Tiger Woods is facing renewed legal issues following a dramatic crash in Florida.

The 50-year-old was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a rollover incident on Jupiter Island on Friday.

According to authorities, the situation escalated quickly after officers arrived at the scene and assessed his condition. Reports from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office indicate that the crash occurred just before 2pm near his residence. Deputies discovered his Range Rover overturned after it reportedly scraped a trailer while attempting to overtake another vehicle on a narrow road.

Officials confirmed that Tiger Woods managed to exit the vehicle through the passenger side and did not sustain any injuries. However, officers at the scene suspected impairment and requested assistance from DUI investigators.

“Mr. Woods did exhibit signs of impairment… He was placed under arrest and taken to the Martin County Jail.”

Tiger Woods is said to have complied with a breathalyzer test, which showed zero alcohol levels, but declined to provide a urine sample. Authorities now suspect that the impairment may be linked to medication or another substance.

He now faces misdemeanor charges, including DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to testing.

This latest development adds to a complicated history of driving-related incidents for Woods, including a 2017 arrest and a serious crash in 2021 that resulted in significant injuries.
