Nollywood actress Uche Montana has shared a more personal side of her life, opening up about the challenges she faces in finding genuine love.
In an interview with Uncut Xtra Magazine, the 31-year-old explained that being admired for her looks does not make relationships any easier. In fact, she says it often has the opposite effect.
According to her, public perception and the nature of her career can be intimidating, making it harder for men to approach her with sincere intentions.
She noted that her lifestyle, personality, and the attention that comes with being in the spotlight require a certain level of understanding that not everyone is ready for.
“It’s going to take a special kind of man to have all of these,” she said. “Pretty girls are the ones that are not really always in a relationship because people think that we are.”
Uche also pushed back against the common assumption that attractive women have endless romantic options.
She explained that many people believe beautiful women are already taken or constantly surrounded by admirers, which discourages potential partners from even trying.
That misunderstanding, she said, leaves many women single, not by choice, but because people already have a fixed idea about their lives.
Uche Montana began her acting career in 2015 and rose to prominence after her role in the TV series Hush.
Since then, she has appeared in several Nollywood productions and continues to build her name as one of the standout talents among the younger generation of actors.
