“This Is Not Content” — Uriel Oputa Reacts to Blessing CEO’s ‘Stage Four’ Health Post

Uriel Oputa Tells Genz Boys to Respect Themselves

Former Big Brother Naija star Uriel Oputa has reacted strongly to a recent post by Blessing Okoro, raising concerns about the seriousness with which health issues are being discussed online.

Blessing had earlier shared an emotional video, saying she was at “stage four” and showing signs of hair loss, but she did not clearly state the illness. That lack of clarity led many people to assume it could be cancer.

Uriel, responding on Instagram, said the situation was troubling, especially because of how the term “stage four” was used without proper explanation.

“I can’t believe we’re actually playing around with something like cancer,” she wrote. “All I saw was ‘stage four,’ no definition, no clarity, nothing explained.”

She added that if the situation is real, then she genuinely sympathises with Blessing and condemns the negative comments being directed at her.

“If this is true, then my heart genuinely goes out to you. Nobody deserves that, especially not when it comes to something this serious,” she said.

However, Uriel also made it clear that if the post turns out to be misleading, it raises serious concerns.

“But if this is not true… then this is actually disturbing. There are certain things you joke about, and this is one of them,” she added.

Uriel’s reaction is personal. She revealed that her mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last year, and she understands firsthand how serious such situations are.

“As someone whose mother was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, I take this personally. This is not content. This is real life,” she said.

For now, Blessing has not provided further details about her condition, leaving many still uncertain about what exactly she meant in her post.

The situation has sparked broader online conversations about sensitivity, clarity, and the responsibility that comes with sharing health-related information publicly.
