Emmy award-winning actress, Zendaya, has reacted to viral fake wedding photos of herself and actor Tom Hollandcirculating online.
The images, which began trending on Instagram in mid-February, quickly attracted massive attention, gathering over a million likes within an hour and sparking widespread reactions, with many fans questioning whether they were real.
Speaking during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Zendaya clarified that the photos were AI-generated and not genuine, noting that many people were convinced they were authentic.
She revealed that the situation escalated to the point where even people close to her believed she had secretly gotten married to the English actor and began congratulating her.
“While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real’,” she said.
