Billionaire Razaq Okoya’s Daughter Raheeda Set To Wed Imran Saro Gobir In Lavish Lagos Ceremony

Excitement is building as Raheeda Okoya, daughter of billionaire businessman Razaq Okoya and Shade Okoya, prepares to tie the knot with Imran Saro Gobir in Lagos on Saturday, April 25.

The high-profile wedding also coincides with Shade Okoya’s 49th birthday, making the occasion a double celebration for the prominent family

Mrs Okoya announced the engagement in an Instagram post on Friday, sharing a video of the couple and formally unveiling the union.

“The Union of Olamide Raheeda Okoya and Imran Saro Gobir,” she wrote.

In her announcement, she described the engagement as the coming together of two respected families, the family of Chief Razaq Okoya and Chief Mrs Shade Okoya, alongside the families of the late Umar Saro and the late Abubakar Gobir.

“In a moment defined by grace and significance, the families… announce the engagement of their children,” she wrote.

She added that the union represents more than romance, but a partnership grounded in faith, mutual respect and legacy.

“The engagement reflects not only a celebration of love, but the beginning of a partnership built on submission to Allah, mutual respect and legacy,” she stated.

According to her, both families have expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah and offered prayers for a marriage filled with peace, happiness and blessings.

The wedding has already drawn attention because of the stature of both families.

Imran Saro Gobir is the son of the late Abubakar Gobir and is linked to the prominent Saro family of Ilorin in Kwara State.

For many, the union is seen as bringing together two influential families with shared values and deep social roots.

Razaq and Shade Okoya, who married in 1999, have four children together, including Raheeda, and have remained one of Nigeria’s most prominent power couples.

With the society wedding set for Lagos and excitement already growing online, many are watching what is expected to be one of the most talked about high-profile weddings of the moment.
