Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has stirred reactions online after unveiling plans to celebrate his colleague Olawunmi Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bam Bam, on her birthday.
The actor took to Instagram to involve fans in the surprise, asking for suggestions on what gift he should get for the actress, a move that quickly got social media talking
But it did not stop there. As part of the birthday plans, Uzor revealed he wants to organise a party for Bam Bam at a library and even invited fans and well-wishers to be part of the celebration.
According to him, supporters can contribute by purchasing tables in two categories or by selecting gifts from her birthday wishlist, which reportedly includes clothes, gadgets and wigs.
He rounded off the post by wishing the actress a happy birthday, but the public gesture quickly fueled fresh conversation online.
The development comes months after rumours swirled about an alleged marital crisis between Bam Bam and her husband, Teddy A, though neither has publicly addressed those claims.
Because of that backdrop, Uzor’s birthday plans have drawn even more attention, with some social media users reviving old speculation about the pair.
Earlier in March, Uzor had already addressed rumours linking him romantically to Bam Bam, dismissing claims of anything beyond friendship and professionalism between them.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Igbo, the actor explained that while filming together, he was intentional about boundaries, especially in scenes involving physical contact, because he did not want anything to affect Bam Bam’s marriage.
He insisted their relationship has always been professional.
Both actors have continued to work together despite the rumours, especially after their chemistry in Love in Every Word sparked widespread reactions and fueled speculation among fans.
