Nollywood star Funke Akindele has reacted strongly to reports claiming she snubbed Fuji icon Pasuma at a recent event, shutting down the speculation and calling out what she described as unnecessary negativity.
The controversy began after a social media user shared a video from Faithia Williams’ 55th birthday party, suggesting the actress had ignored the Fuji singer during the event.

Refuting the report, the actress insisted there was no truth to the allegation, stressing that not only did she greet Pasuma, she also danced with him.
“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity, please. I saw him, greeted him, danced with him. Pasuma is my Egbon. Pls you all should stop this evil,” she wrote.
Making her point even clearer, Funke went further by reposting a video showing the moment she greeted the Fuji legend, using it to challenge those spreading the rumor.
“I tire o. Why nau? Peace. God pass them,” she added.
Her reaction has since drawn support from fans, with many praising her for addressing the report directly and shutting down the speculation.
The actress’s response also appears aimed at ending the growing online narratives attempting to stir up tension between the two entertainers.
