Reality TV star and singer Londie London has broken her silence and issued a public apology to influencer Dineo Moloisane following their trending fallout.
Taking to Instagram, Londie shared a video addressing the backlash and owning up to her comments, admitting that what she said about Dineo’s appearance was out of line.
“Hi guys, I hope you’re doing well. I just want to address something that has recently been trending online about me. I made some mean comments about someone’s appearance, Dineo, and I would like to apologize to Dineo and everyone that I disappointed. I was never supposed to say those comments about someone’s appearance. It was very mean. I just, yeah, I even hate just re-watching that video. It’s very out of character for me and I’m very disappointed in myself as well. So I would just like to apologize to Dineo and everybody else that I disappointed. And I hope you guys can accept my apology and she can accept my apology.”
The apology comes after a heated moment during her appearance on Podcast and Chill, where Londie sat in alongside Sol Phenduka and Nota Baloyi.
During the episode, the hosts discussed a viral video of Dineo Moloisane on vacation, which prompted Sol to compare her to Londie. The comparison didn’t sit well with the singer, who responded with comments that quickly sparked backlash online.
