Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has issued a strong warning to a social media user who alleged she had a past sexual relationship with singer Bella Shmurda.
The allegation, which surfaced on X, claimed that the actress and the singer had an encounter in 2021 before his rise to fame. The post quickly drew attention online.
Reacting on Wednesday, Jombo dismissed the claim as false and cautioned the individual against spreading damaging information.
“This is how you lot think everything is clickbait till you are in jail. Delete this lie immediately. I’m not one to play with. If you can’t respect the name, respect my age. This is your final warning. Remove my name and image from this,” she wrote.
The actress made it clear that failure to take down the post could result in legal action.
Uche Jombo, who began her acting career in the late 1990s, is widely known for her work as an actress, screenwriter, and producer, and remains one of Nollywood’s established figures.
The incident has sparked conversations online about misinformation, reputational damage, and the legal risks of making unverified claims on social media platforms.
