“Dele Odule Must Respect Me” — Ogogo Sparks Reactions Over 23 Day Seniority Debate

Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has stirred laughter and reactions online after jokingly insisting that fellow actor Dele Odule must acknowledge him as a senior colleague in the Yoruba movie industry.

The respected actor made the playful remark during a visit to his film village, where he spoke about the long-standing friendship and industry relationship between himself, Dele Odule, and veteran actor Yinka Quadri.

Speaking humorously to those present, Ogogo stressed that he personally considers Yinka Quadri his elder brother and expects the same respect from Dele Odule.

“I am never Dele Odule mate in everything,” he said jokingly.

“I recognise Yinka Quadri as my elder brother and I senior Dele Odule with solid 23 days.”

“But he has always refused acknowledging that fact,” he added.

Ogogo went on to joke that respect is necessary because younger actors in the industry often follow the example set by senior colleagues.

“It is compulsory he respect and call me his senior brother because if he doesn’t, his younger ones too will not respect him,” he said while laughing.

The comment immediately triggered laughter among those present at the gathering, with many describing the exchange as a classic example of the playful bond among veteran Yoruba actors.

Since the video surfaced online, fans have also joined the conversation, joking about the “23 day seniority battle” between the two Nollywood legends.
