Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has shared a candid message for single men, urging them to take their time before settling down, despite having married in his early twenties.
The businessman, who is known for frequently sharing personal and financial advice on social media, said marriage should never be treated as a competition or a milestone that must be achieved at a certain age.
According to him, choosing the right spouse is one of the biggest decisions a person will ever make and deserves careful thought.
In a post shared online, Blord advised unmarried men to ignore societal pressure and focus instead on making the right choice when it comes to a life partner.
“My advice to single men: Don’t rush into marriage. Marriage is not an achievement. Take your time when choosing a life partner.”
His comments quickly sparked conversations online, with many agreeing that compatibility and maturity are more important than getting married early.
Beyond advising men to be patient, Blord encouraged them to be intentional in their treatment of women.
He warned that hurting someone emotionally could eventually come back in unexpected ways, reminding men that they may one day become fathers to daughters.
“Also, don’t break a lady’s heart, because one day you will have a daughter. Whatever you do to other people’s daughters, one day will be done to yours.”
Concluding his message, the entrepreneur stressed that respect and kindness should guide every relationship.
According to him, the way men treat women today could influence the kind of treatment their own daughters receive in the future.
“Karma is real. Treat women the way you would want other men to treat your daughter in the future.”
Blord’s advice has since generated mixed reactions across social media. While many applauded his emphasis on patience and on choosing the right partner, others pointed out the irony that he is advising men not to rush into marriage despite having tied the knot at a relatively young age.
Nevertheless, his message has added to the ongoing conversation about relationships, marriage and the importance of making thoughtful life decisions rather than acting under societal pressure.
