Nigerian streamer and skit maker Carter Efe has dismissed reports that his United States visa application was rejected, explaining that the process is still ongoing after he was unable to attend Kai Cenat’s Streamers University.
The speculation began after Carter failed to appear at the opening of the highly anticipated content creation programme, despite being announced as one of the selected participants.
His absence led many social media users to conclude that his U.S. visa application had been denied.
Setting the record straight, Carter said his application is still pending at the U.S. Embassy and urged fans not to believe the rumours circulating online.
He wrote:
“First of all
Dem nor deny my visa ooool. Is still pending. I’m goood…….I’m happy……….
I never knew I’d get to a stage where foreigners fvck with my craft.
BIG WWWWWWSSSS FOR ME
This write is for my family and well-wishers! I’m very good.
This stuff is about to unleash the beast in me”
Beyond addressing the rumours, Carter reflected on the global recognition his content has received, saying he never imagined his work would attract attention from creators outside Nigeria.
For the streamer, being selected for the programme remains a major milestone, regardless of the visa delay.
His statement also comes after Kai Cenat revealed during a livestream that he personally tried to assist Carter with the visa process to get him to the United States before the programme began.
Despite those efforts, the travel arrangements could not be completed in time for the opening.
Carter later acknowledged Kai’s support, thanking the American streaming star for doing everything possible to help make the trip happen.
Although he missed the start of Streamers University, Carter’s clarification has eased concerns among his supporters, who had feared he had permanently lost the opportunity to participate.
For now, the content creator says his visa application is still being processed, and he remains optimistic about what lies ahead, insisting the setback has only strengthened his determination to take his streaming career to the next level.
