Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has shared her thoughts on relationships, saying a healthy sex life contributes to a woman’s confidence and overall glow.
Speaking during Monday’s episode of The Morayo Show, the actress reflected on love, single motherhood, becoming a grandmother and the fulfilment she has found in watching her children succeed.
Responding to the belief that single women appear happier than married women, Iyabo said happiness has little to do with marital status and everything to do with the quality of a person’s relationship.
According to her:
“We (single mothers) are happy. I think some married women are happy too. I don’t think it’s about being single or being married.”
She added:
“I think it’s about the person that you’re with.”
The actress also spoke candidly about intimacy, saying it plays an important role in a woman’s wellbeing.
“Sex has a lot to do with a woman’s glow. I’m getting more than enough.”
Her remark drew laughter during the interview and has since generated reactions across social media.
Iyabo also reflected on her journey as a single mother, describing her children’s achievements as one of the greatest rewards of her life.
The actress said watching them grow into successful adults has given her a deep sense of fulfilment.
“It makes me feel good, happy, and fulfilled.”
