Wumi Toriola and Funke Etti, two Nollywood actresses, have apologized unequivocally to their senior colleague, Remi Surutu, for their absence at her mother’s funeral.
Remi Surutu lost her 101st mother, in May 2022. The actress buried her in grand style in December, but many of her coworkers avoided the event.
Wumi begged her fans on Instagram to assist her begged the actress. She admitted that she couldn’t answer Remi Surutu’s phone call because she was afraid the actress would lash out at her.
“I missed @therealremisurutu mum’s burial and I couldn’t even pick call cos I nor wan hear shege. Pls help me apologize to her and tell her I love her”.
Taking to Wumi’s comment section, Funke Etti also apologised to Remi Surutu over her absence a the funeral.
“We plenty, my lovely big sis, e jor pardon wunmi and me too”.
