Early Life
Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi (born October 18, 1988, 37 years old), in the city of Gboko, Benue State, is a Nigerian actor who is best known for his roles in Falling, Family Forever, Tinsel, and Aníkúlápó. He has five siblings and is the second son of the family.
His father is Engineer Joseph Ibukun Oluwaremi, and his mother is Mrs. S. Oluwaremi, a school owner. The Family of six moved to Ibadan, where Kunle grew up and had most of his pre-tertiary education.
Education
After his secondary education, Kunle Remi enrolled at the University of Ibadan, where he studied Fishery and Wildlife Management.
While at U.I., he gained admission to study Tourism and Hospitality Management at Sheffield University in the United Kingdom. Subsequently, he left Nigeria for the United Kingdom.
The actor also graduated from the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles.
Career
Remi started acting professionally in 2011 after winning Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010. His first major role was in Heavy Beauty, produced by Grace Edwin Okon and directed by Stanlee Ohikhuare. Later, he starred in several films, T.V. series, and stage plays, including Family Forever, Tinsel, Lagos Cougars Reloaded, The Getaway, Falling, and Africa Magic’s Forbidden. He has been featured in several Africa Magic Original Films.

While studying at the New York Film Academy, Remi was a T.V. host for an Internet T.V. channel, Celebville 360. His first appearance was reporting live at the Academy Awards nomination event in Beverly Hills, California. In 2021, he became the co-host (taskmaster) of Gulder Ultimate Search.

Personal Life
In January 2024, Famous Nigerian actor Kunle Remi tied the knot with his wife, Boluwatiwi, in a traditional ceremony in Lagos State on Friday. Before the ceremony, Remi posted a pre-wedding picture on his Instagram page, kneeling before Boluwatiwi with a goat around his neck.

Attack
In late 2016, Kunle had a near-death incident that almost claimed his life. The actor had gone to celebrate with a friend when he met a supposed “fan” who was wildly excited to see him. “While greeting each other, ‘the accident’ happened,” Kunle had written on Instagram.

“On the 7th of November 2016, I had an accident. On my way home, I stopped to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I Didn’t have intentions to stay for so long, I just wanted to breeze in and out (Well that was my plan).then I bumped into this exciting Fan.”
“(well I was energetic too as usual) and while we were greeting each other “the Accident” happened…he was carrying a glass which somehow broke, tearing into my flesh, leaving my arm bleeding profusely and me, fading out gradually, unconscious on getting to the hospital. I blacked out. That’s all I remember”.
