Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky has opened up on his beef with colleague, James Brown.
In an interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa, Bobrisky admitted that although he likes James Brown’s funny personality, they aren’t cool because he keeps copying his style.
Bobrisky who recently spoke about his regrets on falling out Tonto Dikeh said when James Brown first got into limelight, he and the actress loved his videos and used to joke about him.
He however noted how James kept stealing his content without giving him credit for it, while acknowledging that he tried to be friends with his counterpart at the beginning but it couldn’t work.
Referencing media personality, Denrele Edun, Bobrisky said so as not to seem like a rival when he started crossdressing, he made sure he didn’t wear the kind of cloths the former wore nor hung out with his circle. Bobrisky said in part:
“I don’t want to be in competition with Denrele he has his brand, I want to build my brand. I come with different energy, I don’t wear what Denrele wears or do what he does , I didn’t copy anything he does or friends with his circles.
“That way, I can be my self, don’t copy everything Bobrisky does, be your own self, trust me you will make more than bob, don’t compare or compete with no body be urself and you might sell more than those before you.”
