Paris Saint-Germain are pressing for a quick response from Kylian Mbappe about his future plans.
The 24-year-old must decide whether to extend his contract or depart this summer, the Ligue 1 champions have reportedly told the player’s mother and agent, Fayza Lamari, according to Le Parisien.
Following his declaration that he will not renew his contract, Mbappe’s future at Parc des Princes is still in doubt.
In June 2024, his current contract expires, and PSG won’t let their star player sign with another team.
PSG Nasser Al Khelaifi has notified Lamari of the situation, however Mbappe will ultimately make the decision.
“I didn’t think a letter would kill someone or offend anyone. We can’t control people’s reactions, but I don’t care,” Mbappe said before France played Gibraltar.
Staying at PSG is my only option for now.”
