Victor Osimhen, a striker for the Super Eagles, is considering taking legal action against Napoli after a TikTok video was posted on Tuesday.

The video mocked Osimhen for missing a penalty in their recent 0-0 draw with Bologna in Serie A.

This miss was a rare occurrence for Osimhen, who has already scored three goals in his first five matches this season.

After facing serious backlash on social media, Napoli deleted the video.

Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has suggested that Osimhen may sue Napoli, as he believes the video was unacceptable and could have a detrimental impact on the player.

“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted.

“A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news. We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor,” Calenda said.
