“There’s no money in Nollywood” – Akpororo tells VeryDarkMan

Popular comedian, Akpororo, has addressed the recent video in which VeryDarkMan criticized the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood.

In response, Akpororo urges VeryDarkMan to redirect his blame away from Nollywood, highlighting the industry’s lack of monetary support.

Akpororo argues that instead of criticizing Nollywood, attention should be given to their female counterparts who hastily make extravagant purchases after appearing in just one movie.

According to him, this misconception leads many to believe that the entire industry is prosperous.

Akpororo also points out the absence of a structural framework within Nollywood and directs his criticism towards the Enugu state governor, who, being from the same state as the talented actor Mr Ibu,

Akpororo believes should have viewed the video by now and extended a helping hand.
