“Umu Bingo just dey bark Jan to Dec” – Cubana Chief Priest Blasts VeryDarkMan Over “Poor People” Comment During Peller’s Livestream

“The end justifies the means” – Cubana Chief Priest shows moral support for VeryDarkMan

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has fired back at nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest following controversial comments made during Peller’s livestream.

The drama started after Chief Priest reportedly mocked his online critics during the livestream, claiming many of those attacking him online were poor and could not afford luxury vehicles like a G Wagon.

The comment quickly triggered reactions online, with VeryDarkMan among those who openly criticized the socialite’s remarks.

In a video response, VeryDarkMan accused Chief Priest of having a dangerous mindset and linked it to his recent political defeat.

“Cubana Chief Priest, this is why it’s a good thing that you lost the election,” he said.

“Imagine going into the House of Reps with disgusting mindset that the poor should never have a voice.”

The activist also mocked the businessman’s poor showing during the APC primary election in Imo State where Chief Priest reportedly secured just 14 votes.

“Na why you get 14 votes because the people when vote for you na the only 14 people with G Wagon for Orlu,” he added.

VeryDarkMan also warned Peller against constantly mocking people online, suggesting the content creator should be careful about the path he was taking on social media.

Reacting to the criticism, Cubana Chief Priest dismissed the backlash and claimed the livestream controversy was intentionally designed to keep social media conversations active ahead of a new project release.

“Na me get social media,” he wrote.

“Umu Bingo just dey bark Jan to Dec.”

The socialite further claimed he fully understands how online engagement works and suggested critics were mainly angry about his wealth and lifestyle.

“The only thing wey dey pain una for CP body na say money na water,” he stated.

The heated exchange has since gone viral across Nigerian social media, with fans divided over the controversial comments and the growing culture of wealth based insults among online personalities.

The controversy also comes shortly after Cubana Chief Priest suffered defeat in his attempt to secure the APC House of Representatives ticket for Orsu, Orlu and Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State ahead of the 2027 elections.
