In the most recent episode of the We Need To Talk podcast, Tyla Laura Seethal, also known as Tyla, a South African singer, has finally responded to the speculations surrounding her alleged romantic involvement with Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Rema.
Dismissing the rumors, the ‘Water’ artist categorically stated that Rema is merely a “friend” to her.
Tyla further clarified that the widely circulated photograph of them holding hands, which ignited the dating speculations, was taken after she had attended one of Rema’s concerts.
“We [Rema and I] are just friends. I went to his show and he happened to hold my hand. And obviously, people will always interpret it the way they do.
“He is not my boyfriend. He’s not my man.”
CREEBHILLS recalls that Tyla recently mentioned Rema in an interview with Apple Music as the celebrity she would love to take to a prom date.
