Following their matchday 16 match against Kwara United, Kano Pillars of the Nigeria Premier Football League received a N3 million cash donation from Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa.
At the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, the Sai Masu Gida defeated the Harmony Boys 2-1.
Mohammed Aminu and Ibrahim Yuga scored goals for Kano Pillars during the match.
Following the interaction, Musa gave the crew the donation.
According to the 30-year-old attacker, the donation is meant to support the club as they strive for success in the league.
After the victory, Kano Pillars gained six spots with 25 points on the NPFL table.
Matchday 17 in Kano will see Abdul Maikaba’s team take on Plateau United.
