Conor McGregor said that his return fight to the UFC will be against American Michael Chandler next summer.
McGregor posted a video on New Year’s Eve on X, formerly known as Twitter, in which he said the fight would take place in Las Vegas on June 29.
The 35-year-old Irishman last fought in July 2021, when he broke his leg in a defeat to Dustin Poirier.
McGregor said the weight class will be 185 pounds, and the contest will take place during international Fight Week.
He called it “the greatest comeback ever” during a 42-second video.
