After contracting the flu, Christina Aguilera has decided to reschedule two of her Las Vegas shows.
The renowned pop artist began her latest residency in Las Vegas just last week but had to postpone the weekend shows scheduled for January 5th and 6th.
The new dates for these concerts have not yet been announced.
“After welcoming all of you to the new year from the stage in Las Vegas, I’ve been welcomed with a new year flu,” Christina, 43, wrote on her Instagram Stories.
“I am sorry to share that my two shows this weekend will be rescheduled while I rest – and I cannot wait to be back on that stage in a few weeks,” the Genie in a Bottle hitmaker continued. “I’m incredibly proud of this show and grateful for all of the support and love after opening weekend! See you soon.”
This 10-date residency, titled Christina Aguilera: The Xperience, commenced on December 30th and 31st at The Venetian Resort’s Voltaire venue and is set to continue until March 2nd.
Aguilera’s next performance is scheduled for Friday, February 2nd.
