Xavi has announced that he will leave his post as Barcelona manager at the end of this season.
He revealed in a news conference on Saturday that he will quit his position this summer.
The Barcelona manager responded after his team lost 5-3 at home to Villarreal in La Liga.
The loss puts the defending La Liga champions ten points behind leaders Real Madrid.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, the Barcelona manager stated, “I will leave Barcelona in June. We’ve reached the point of no return.
“It’s time for change. As a Culé, I think that it’s time to leave. I spoke with the board and the club today. I will leave on the 30th of June.”
