A reality TV star, Angel Smith, recently took to Twitter to criticize married women for changing their behaviour after marriage.
In the past 24 hours, there has been a discourse on Twitter concerning the name that women should call their married friends’ husbands. Some ladies have stated that their friends should call their spouses by the moniker “Sir” or a respectful name rather than simply addressing them by their name.
Angel revealed that it was an insane thing to do and that people should call other people’s spouses by the name that they know them with. She also stated that things are currently expensive in the economy and that people should learn to be serious and focus on other things.
She also responded to a particular girl known as Nikki, who stated that her husband must be referred to as Sir. Angel says she would call somebody Sir only if he pays her school fees. She also asked this Nikki girl if it applies to his friends if they would call her Ma when they see her.
She further disclosed that she would love her friends to call her husband by the name they’d been calling him prior to them getting married.
However, she agreed that marriage is a beautiful institution and that while it is beautiful to love and be seen, it is also important that people do not cut ties with their friends based on irrelevant things.
