Pastor Femi Lazarus stressed the importance of churches being open to accepting couples’ breakups as a normal part of life.
He recounted a real-life story of a man who ended up sleeping at a bar with his friends the night before his wedding.
The man only realized it was his wedding day when he woke up past 7 am and rushed to the ceremony.
However, his bride refused to kiss him due to the smell of alcohol on his breath.
Pastor Femi Lazarus warned against ignoring warning signs and advocated for a more understanding approach to separation within local churches.
He emphasized that breakups should not be seen as a big deal and encouraged couples to prioritize their own emotional well-being before sharing photos publicly.
