Indigenous Yoruba actress Laide Bakare has been named as the senior special adviser to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, focusing on entertainment, arts, tourism, and culture.
The announcement of her appointment was made by the movie star herself on Instagram, sharing photos of her meeting with the governor and holding her appointment letter.
Born and raised in Oyo state, Laide Bakare expressed her gratitude and pride in being honored by the state.
