Nollywood actor, Quadri Oyebanji, known as Sisi Quadri, has been laid to rest in his hometown of Iwo in Osun State.
He was buried in accordance with Muslim rites at 1pm on Saturday after passing away at the age of 44.
Colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry mourned his death, including actress Abiola Bayo, who expressed sorrow on Instagram.
She wrote:
“You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace”.
Sisi Quadri was acclaimed for his comedic skills and sharp insults.
His death was verified by TAMPAN National President, Bolaji Amusan.
Mr Latin wrote: “Hmmmmm! May God grant him eternal rest.”
