Earlier this month, Cyan Boujee gained popularity after she was caught on camera twerking in front of many little kids.
According to reports, the influencer received an invitation to the school to give the students a motivational speech.
Many of those in attendance denounced her as an attention-seeker, while others demanded that the principal of the school be fired for permitting it.
She spoke over the phone with MacG and Sol Phenduka, hosts of Podcast and Chill, on Monday this week to talk about the issue.
Cyan claims that she was one of several performers invited to what appeared to be a school celebration. She further disclosed that the entire event was planned by her grandma, an educator at the school.
Influencer and Instagram model Cyan Boujee has been at the top of trend rankings this month.
This came about as a result of a viral video of her twerking for schoolchildren after giving a “motivational talk.” The DJ is seen in the viral footage sporting a short black leather dress, which many have also said is improper for young children. Social media users expressed their opinions about the video’s inappropriateness, causing it to go popular on X.
Social media users, however, have started criticising Cyan, claiming that he is an attention-seeker who will say or do anything to make a statement go viral.
This week’s Monday saw well-known podcaster MacG make the decision to set the record straight.
He asked Cyan what the purpose of the video was when they spoke during his show.
