Justice Tanze Benjamin Makama, a newly appointed judge of the Nasarawa State High Court of Justice, has sadly passed away.
Makama was said to have taken his last breath on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, following a short illness.
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Keffi branch, confirmed his death in a statement issued by its Chairman, Nuhu J. Egya, describing it as an irreparable loss.
The NBA extended its condolences to the family of Justice Makama and prayed for their strength during this difficult time.
They also expressed their sympathies to Chief Judge of Nasarawa State, Justice Aisha Bashir-Aliyu, and the entire judiciary, calling Justice Makama’s passing untimely.
Justice Makama had been appointed as a judge on December 29, 2023.
